In the historic Watertower Residences, a renovated pied-a-terre emanates a warm modernism.  With furniture and fabrics from Minotti, Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia, Christian Liaigre, Holly Hunt, Hermes, Dedar, and Maya Romanoff and accessories from Carlo Moretti, Alessi, and Lynda O’Connor the spacious interior is a serene oasis floating high above Chicago.  AC Atelier took the entire apartment back to studs, and oversaw the complete renovation.  The plan reorganization created a central enfilade and eliminated walls within the living spaces to allow for expansive views of the Chicago skyline.  The ebonized oak flooring and paneling throughout contrasts with gallery white walls and high gloss millwork to create a quiet backdrop for the dramatic art and views.
