The renovation of this apartment required vigilant planning and attention to detail to achieve all of the client’s goals. The requirements of each room was carefully considered and planned with many rooms performing dual functions…Dining Room as Study…Living Room as Theater Room…Butler’s Pantry as Laundry Room. The effort was to create a blank canvas for the client’s vast art collection and to allow for entertaining of large and small groups. AC Atelier removed walls and simplified the material palette while adding concealed storage and large mirrored sliding doors to allow flexibility reorganization of the spaces for entertaining.
